Darcy B is a premium fashion brand who were looking to increase and improve their online footprint.

We were referred to Darcy B by an existing client and after an initial meeting they felt Knight Web Design could help them, not just with their web presence but their online marketing.

Darcy B had an existing eCommerce website using Squareup to manage their eCommerce and inventory and they wanted specifically to keep this for their inventory as it made stock management and product uploading easy but there were some things it wouldn’t do.

When we first met with Darcy B’s owners, they had some issues with gaining control of their domain and email as the control of this didn’t rest with them at the time.

We assisted with this, liaising with Nominet to recover the control of the domain.  This meant the business was on a firm footing going forward and will continue to be.

We also assisted with recovering control of email for the business as well.

In addition we set about working with Squareup using our own expertise in WooCommerce and WordPress.  We managed to link the two systems and overcome a number of challenges as Squareup has some limitations in how it works so a pathway forward has been created.

The site has a range of products and in the past not all of their products were showing when using a Weebly website (which Squareup recommend).  We’ve provided the technical experience to get all products showing and to enable Darcy B’s website to showcase their products correctly going forward.

As a result the site was launched in February and although they occasionally got some orders from it in the past, the majority of them were coming from within their store.  We’ve already seen the first one come in before the marketing even starts.

This project was turned live in early February 2025.

Our client is very pleased with how things are progressing and enjoying the additional support and marketing expertise we offer.

This will enable the business to move forward with confidence, offering more to their customers and looking to attract new ones.

WordPress is still very much the right tool for the job and it will ensure Darcy B progresses with pace and results.
